R.I.P. Manolo
5 December 2010 Leave a commentHe was approx. 23 years old and had an amazing, long life for a cat.
Visitors to Lanzarote will have known him as a fixture on the Avenida (beach front) at the FunSun shop near Centro Atlantico, where he spent most of his life lying around in the sun under the palm trees, and greeting people with a friendly meow and plentiful purrs.
When the shop closed in around 2007, shop manager Andrea took him home with her so he could live out the rest of his days at a house in the country, in peace. Thanks so much to Andrea for looking after him when no one else would have done so, and bless Manolo´s sweet soul.

2 October 2010 Leave a commentFirst test video with new Nikon Coolpix P100 camera – not bad for a photo camera that also has HD video built in – although… the stereo microphone is far too sensitive and picks up the zooming in noise as well, hence I put some silly music over it…
