Poor Ill Spider

He saw the vets on Wednesday and got a couple of shots (he had no fever and his lungs were clear), but he is still poorly, with sneezing fits and blocked sinuses. We are trying to “ride it out” , but if he isn´t better by Monday, then it´s back to the vets again….

Fellow Cat Lover Claudia and I are appealing to all of you to give a small donation (€5-€10 if possible) to cover Pompon´s vets bills. Pompon´s full story is outlined here, but most of you already know what happened to him.
Claudia is in big financial trouble so cannot afford to pay a few night´s stay for Pompon in hospital – one night is around €40 with subsequent nights being €20-€30 depending on medication etc. We hope he will only need one or two nights´ stay, but this will still come to around €100 with meds etc. included.
I have now taken the donation button off, thanks everybody – Pompon is on his way to the Rainbow Bridge now.

11 March 2011 2 CommentsHe actually tucks himself in like this because he´s ill – he has just been diagnosed with a chronic condition called Megacolon, which causes him a lot of pain, but the vets and I are treating him with medication at the moment and hope his symptoms will improve. If not… he might need an operation. I pray that he won´t …
