Spider has a cold. He saw the vets on Wednesday and got a couple of shots (he had no fever and his lungs were clear), but he is still poorly, with sneezing fits and blocked sinuses. We are trying to “ride it out” , but if he isn´t better by Monday, then it´s back to the vets again….
Spider is accepting your well wishes!

UPDATE: Latest & Sadly Last Pompon update HERE…
Fellow Cat Lover Claudia and I are appealing to all of you to give a small donation (€5-€10 if possible) to cover Pompon´s vets bills. Pompon´s full story is outlined here, but most of you already know what happened to him.
Claudia is in big financial trouble so cannot afford to pay a few night´s stay for Pompon in hospital – one night is around €40 with subsequent nights being €20-€30 depending on medication etc. We hope he will only need one or two nights´ stay, but this will still come to around €100 with meds etc. included.
I have now taken the donation button off, thanks everybody – Pompon is on his way to the Rainbow Bridge now.
I have put all the names of those who donated on Pompon´s “Wall of Fame” below. If you have a website, let me know in a message with your PayPal donation and I´ll give you a link to it too.
1. Bob Hewson – €10
2. Dawn Harris – €10
3. Lori Duffy – €10
4. Martine Van de Loo – €8
5. Ari K. – USD 25
6. Anita Verkerk – €25
7. Terry Nunn – €10
8. Andrea McKenna – €10
9. Inese Klucane – €10
10. Anneke Bosma – €5

Pompon with the vet, being admitted to hospital.
He actually tucks himself in like this because he´s ill – he has just been diagnosed with a chronic condition called Megacolon, which causes him a lot of pain, but the vets and I are treating him with medication at the moment and hope his symptoms will improve. If not… he might need an operation. I pray that he won´t …

Look at the poor mite´s shaved belly bits! He had an ultrasound yesterday – turns out that he has a blockage in his colon and he is now on laxatives, meds & special food to get him better…

Lugosi: “Mummy took those horrible “underpants” off because it just made me too sad…. but here I am, handsome as ever, collar or no collar!”

Poor baby. But he has been rubbing the collar against his “bits”, so he has to wear “protection” now!!!

Poor Lugosi. Hopefully, after tomorrow he won´t need the collar any longer…

“I iz gonna LEEECK ma way out of diz ting!”

“!!! Let me out of diz ting!!!” *bawls*

“Oh man, I give up….”
