I visited Janelle again yesterday – she´s co-inhabiting with a little doggie at the moment, called Feis (see pics below), who Anneke is looking after for a week – and she doesn´t seem to mind at all. I´m very proud of her doing so well. She´s looking as beautiful as ever….

I miss my little princess so much, even though I know she is in the bestest of hands with Anneke…

Not Janelle – this is the photogenic, but rather shy Squeaky, who co-inhabits with Janelle.
.
Janelle: “Let me down already!!!”

I visited ma bebbee Janelle the other day – this is Anneke (her new mummy) stroking her gently, and Nelly really enjoying it…

Oh no, she didn´t like wearing that “thing” at first, look at her face in the first pic…. however, she quickly realised that she actually looks very pretty in pink and started posing for the camera like a pro.
P.S.: She got shaved the other day – the “lion cut” again.

.

… and she gets her favourites: PRAWNS!

She really loves it at Anneke´s place. So relaxed, out here on the patio, in her favourite shady spot…. makes me happy to see she is doing so well – even though she looks so angry, typical Persian!!!

Janelle (who lived with us for almost 3 years, but now is with a friend, in case you didn´t know) is absolutely happy at Anneke´s house. I mean, wouldn´t *you* be with a view like that from your patio?
(although she wasn´t too happy with being picked up and being kissed, as you can see!)

Janelle is permanently moving to “Auntie” Anneke tomorrow – the “Nemesis” situation with Lugosi isn´t ever going to get any better, and I am glad that I have found my girl a good home with a person I trust wholeheartedly. It´s gonna be a sad day for myself, but Janelle is going to be so happy in her new home. No nemesis (Lugosi) lurking round every corner. Peace and quiet. No being constantly scared. No getting beaten up by someone 2x her size.
But…. I´m gonna miss you so much, my Nelly-Bean!
So, this will be the last photo of Janelle together with one of the tabby boys (Spider here) on this blog. However, future Nelly pics are perfectly possible, since Anneke only lives 15 mins away and I can always visit Janelle.

Couple of Janelle pics – first cute….
.
…then silly – just before she made a mad dash past me and the camera….

Right next to my face when I go to bed. Bless her.

Spreading her furry butt about the place as if she never left….

Janelle: “Oh noes! Don´t you photograph me with these *commoners*!”

If all goes well, Lugosi will be out of the “Collar of Terror” (at least in Janelle´s eyes!) by Thursday this week, and Janelle will be back with us then. In the meantime, she is still quite happy living at Auntie Anneke´s house…

For the next 2 weeks Janelle is holidaying away from radar dish collared “evil monster” Lugosi – hopefully this holiday won´t be cut short because she won´t behave with the other cats (Blackie, in photo with her, & the lovely Squeak)…

Okay, not exactly friends, but at least Janelle is in the same room with Lugosi again. The radar dish collar had to come off Lugosi, cause Nelly was *peeing* herself with fear….

Had to take Lugosi´s radar dish collar off (see 2 posts previously) because Janelle is so terrified of it, she *peed* herself (and on *me* while I was holding her!) in fear this morning… here´s her hiding from the evil radar dish collar monster cat!
She is utterly terrified of Lugosi´s radar dish collar!

Gotta love those fluffy booties, too cute!

She can do *this* with her tongue:

Janelle sports the trendy lion cut once again….

It´s 38C/100F in the shade. And 2 of my 3 cats LOVE it (including fluffy Persian Queen Janelle)!

This bowl is a bit deep for Janelle´s cute, smooshy Persian face, but that doesn´t mean she won´t go all the way to get to the food!
.

It started off with just one little sniff….
But things quickly got out of hand….
…and soon the Princess turned into a wild animal…
losing all her inhibitions and making it into the local tabloids.
